The emi team just got a little more excited with the arrival of our latest and greatest addition, Katie Pufnock. As our new account manager, she has quickly made her presence felt with her dedication to detail and her competitive spirit!
Before joining our team, Katie was an administrator and a national accounts representative in the green and snow industries, providing her with a wealth of knowledge and understanding. From horticulture to bidding, building customer relationships, and new sales, she’s got the know-how to get the job done.
Before arriving on the scene in the industry, Katie is also a true athlete at heart, having played competitive sports through college where she played field hockey at Shippensburg University. That same competitive drive and desire to win are now being put to good use in striving to bring the visions of our customers to life.
In the world of landscaping, no two days are ever the same – which Katie knows all too well. She enjoys having a dynamic schedule, from walking sites to training, meetings, crunching numbers, and even meeting with clients in person.
Katie certainly doesn’t mind the occasional curveball getting thrown her way – in fact, she thrives on it. Her unique critical thinking skills and competitive spirit mean she’s always up for a challenge, no matter how unexpected or daunting.
When Katie isn’t busy in her new role as Account Manager she’s always finding ways to keep busy! You can find her repurposing antique furniture, crushing it on the golf course, or spoiling her niece and nephew with love and affection.
But most important to Katie is her ‘why’. Her daughter Finley continues to fuel her desire to lead, succeed, and build lasting positive relationships with others.
So, what’s Katie’s recipe for success? Well, it all comes down to her attention to detail. She shares, “I’m fanatical about it in every aspect of my role and responsibilities. I enjoy learning and being a forever student!”
Katie feels excited to be around so many experts and professionals who are willing to invest in her career and future. And finds the people-focused and relationship-driven culture at emi to be a place she can see herself settling into over the next five years. However, Katie states, “Only if emi can tolerate me, ha!”
I’m sure we can do way MORE than tolerate you, Katie! Your passion for your work and dedication to attention to detail has already made a big impact in just a short time. Here’s to the future! 😉🥂
